On April 25 & 26 close to 200 people from across the diocese gathered for the Water and the Word Conference where they immersed themselves in learning and dreaming about the future of the church in Southwest Florida.
Opening with worship and the plenary Baptism: Do you mean it? from the Rt. Rev. Doug Scharf, the conference continued through Saturday night, offering four plenaries and nine workshops grounded in the diocese Four Pathways: Forming Disciples, Transforming Communities, Embracing Differences, and Developing Leaders.
