Water and the Word Conference

May 5 & 6, 2023

DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center

What do we do, with all that we have, after we say, “I believe.”

Bishop Doug Scharf, Jerusalem Greer, John Roberto, and many more will lead this two-day conference focused on growing your knowledge, mission, and love of God.  Discover your leadership path.  Re-imagine how your church can serve its community. Magnify your mission where faith and family intersect.

The Word

Reflections on life, mission, grace, and connection.

Water and the Word

In the waters of baptism we are lovingly adopted by God into God’s family, which we call the Church, and given God’s own life to share and reminded that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ.

The Episcopal Church

We believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.

Word of God

The creative expression of God's power and the transformative teachings of Jesus Christ.

"As we begin this new chapter together, let’s talk for a moment about what it means to rediscover our WHY. I think the first thing we need to do is look to the example of Jesus himself. Because Jesus was always clear and consistent about his WHY. He remained persistently focused on his mission. He was abundantly clear about his purpose."

Bishop Doug Scharf
